Duo of lamb - roast cutlet & crispy croquette of braised lamb shoulder w/ pea salsa verde, asparagus
& truffled dauphinoise potatoes
- Cauliflower steak w/ pea suppli
Individual pavlova w/ Champagne chantilly cream, fresh berries & berry coulis
Pre-heat the oven to 180C. Place the scallops (or mushroom scallops) on a baking tray and roast for 5 – 6 minutes until piping hot through. We have already seared the outside for you for that little char.
Remove the lid from the pot of celeriac puree and microwave on full power for 1 – 2 minutes until piping hot.
Remove the pickled grapes from the pickling liquor and slice in half.
To plate up, spoon a base of celeriac puree onto two heated plates, top with your scallops, some halves of pickled grape and garnish with the root vegetable crisps for a lovely bit of texture.
LAMB / CAULIFLOWER.
Take the lamb cutlets out of the fridge at least an hour prior to cooking. Also take the salsa verde out of the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Remove the outer packaging from the dauphinoise potatoes, place on a baking tray and cover loosely with foil. Place in the oven for 15 – 20 minutes until hot to the centre.
Place the lamb croquette or pea suppli on a lined baking tray and heat for 10 – 12 minutes until piping hot through.
Place the lamb cutlets or cauliflower steaks on a lined baking tray and heat for 6 – 8 minutes until cooked through, for the lamb, the times depends on how you like it cooked. Allow the lamb to rest for at least five minutes before slicing.
To plate up, slice the lamb in half, one cutlet per person. Place a little salsa verde on each warmed plate. Top with the lamb croquette or pea suppli then place the cutlet or cauliflower steak next to it. Arrange the asparagus to one side. Slice the dauphinoise in half and share between the plates. Top with a little extra salsa verde
Place a pavlova on each plate. Top with some Chantilly cream then spoon over the berries and coulis. You may prefer to slice your berries, we have kept whole so that they stay fresher for longer.
FROM THE FREEZER
These meals should be full defrosted before cooking.
SWEDISH MEATBALLS. Preheat the oven to 180C. Place meatballs on a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes until piping hot throughout.
To heat the mash, transfer to a microwave proof container and heat on full power for 3 – 4 minutes until piping hot throughout. The mash can also be heated in a saucepan over a medium heat, keep it moving around the pan as it heats up.
To heat the sauce, transfer to a small sauce pan and heat gently over a medium heat until bubbling hot. Use a small whisk to smooth out the texture if needed.
CHICKEN TAGINE / THAI SQUASH CURRY / BEEF CHILLI
Transfer to a microwave proof container and heat on full power for 4 – 5 minutes until piping hot throughout. The tagine / curry can also be heated in a saucepan over a medium heat, stirring often, until it is piping hot.
SAUSAGE RAGU RIGATONI. Transfer to a good sized sauce pan. Add around 150ml of boiling water to the pan with the sausage pasta mix and stir as it warms through over a medium – high heat until piping hot.
for dishes such as Meals for 2, Paella & Sides.
Example dishes: Paella (vegan or meat), Comforting Beef Shin Chilli Con Carne, Basmati rice
Many of our meals for two, soups and side dishes can be reheated in the microwave, particularly those with a lot of sauce such as curries and soups.
If the meal arrives in a foil container, decant the meal into a microwavable container as a ceramic dish or a Tupperware then cover loosely with a plate or cling film. If your meal arrives in a black recyclable container then it's good to go straight in the microwave.
Reheat at full power for two minutes. Take the meal out and stir then reheat for another two minutes, again at full power. Ensure the meal is piping hot throughout before transferring to a plate or bowl to eat, as microwave powers and models do differ.
(Note. Side dishes such as basmati rice will not take as long to reheat, so please reduce the reheating time accordingly).
for dishes such as Meals for 2 & Side Dishes.
Example dishes: Sausage & fennel pasta, Mac n Cheese, Thyme & Garlic Roast Potatoes
Many of our meals for two can be reheated in the oven at 180C. Remove the cardboard lid from the meal’s foil container and replace with some foil.
Pop the meal in the oven for roughly 15 minutes until it is piping hot all the way through, stir part way through the cooking if you are able (we know you can't do this with bake at home dishes such as pies or lasagne). Transfer to plates before eating.
Freezing at Home & Using our Frozen Meals
Many of our dishes can be frozen by you at home. Please freeze on the day you receive the delivery and write the date on the container so that you know what date you froze it on. If you are receiving our frozen meals, also make a note of the day you added to your freezer.
Unless the dish says to cook from frozen, please defrost the dish completely in the fridge before reheating as above (in oven or microwave).

Croquetas & Arancini
These products are best fried from frozen so please keep in the freezer until ready to use. Heat some vegetable oil in a pan until it reaches 170c (or until a piece of bread turns golden in 30 seconds). Cook in batches until they are golden on the outside but heated through to the centre.
Take the lid off the container with the vegetables and chicken, pour 3 tablespoons of the chicken ramen broth into the base of the container, place the lid back on and microwave for 1 - 2 minutes to start heating up the vegetables & chicken. They are already cooked so you don't want to over cook the vegetables too much.
Arrange the vegetables, noodles and chicken in two pre-warmed bowls as you would like to serve them.
Heat the chicken ramen broth in the microwave or in a pan until piping hot then pour over the chicken, vegetables & noodles.
Sticky Toffee Pudding
The sticky toffee puddings are lovely as they are but even better served warm. The best way to heat them (and the sauce) is to give them a 20 – 30 second blast in the microwave until they are steaming slightly.
